I have approximately 25 new and clean TY Beanie Babies that I would like to donate. Are you still collecting? If not, perhaps you have some information as to where I can donate. Thank you.

After finishing my project, I read on this site, see above, that they did not want fleece made of polyester. If this is truly the case, I am heart broken. The fleece I used was polyester. PLEASE note on the description of how to made them to use only cotton and not polyester. It would have made a difference, as I would have used the right stuff. If they can not use mine, due to the fire hazzard, I will have to give them away, but not to the men in Iraq, which was why I made them in the first place.

I made 5 orange ones for the hunters in my family for practice. Then I made 55 from desert light camo. I looked for more of that material, but was unable to get it at the local Hancock or Walmarts. All web sites I was have what I condidered to be high cost. The local walmart had suitable colors for about $3.5 I am going to get another color from among the ones suggested. I want to try to make enough to have 100 for a local unit in Iraq.

If you ever want to see a reader's feedback :) , I rate this article for 4/5. Decent info, but I have to go to that damn yahoo to find the missed parts. Thanks, anyway!

Hi,
I've been looking for a pattern for the helmet liner to sew out of single knit fabric. My son is in Afghanistan and is coming up on the sand storms, if you have a pattern or know where I can get one, I will be happy to pay for it.

I've made many of the neck coolers for him when he was in Iraq and my Blue Star Mothers are going to be working up more at the end of this month, but I'm really concerned about finding the easy to sew helmet liner.
Thank you,
Sharon
