“Beanie Baby Roundup” is a huge success!

I recently conducted a Beanie Baby Roundup to collect Beanies to send to our servicemen and women to distribute to Iraqi and Afghani children. I anticipated sending about 500, but the response was overwhelming. Even after the event ended, people have called do donate their beloved babies. One woman started by donating 200! The Burlington Free Press picked up the story, and it was published statewide. Eventually, over 4,000 Beanie Babies were sent overseas. Twenty six cartons, with an average shipping cost of $22.00 each. This photo was sent by a platoon who enjoyed distributing them to excited children.

I have approximately 25 new and clean TY Beanie Babies that I would like to donate. Are you still collecting? If not, perhaps you have some information as to where I can donate. Thank you.
